Proximo helps accountancy practices grow on their own terms.

Predictable growth, at your pace.

The right companies, at the right time, with the right message.

No cold prospects. Only companies already reviewing who they use.

You know what they need before you walk in.

Less time chasing new work, more time doing it.

We make the introduction. You build the relationship.

Four steps, from the first signal to the meeting.

01

We spot the moment.

We find the companies with a move on their mind, and the reason behind it.

02

We make the call.

Not a cold sales pitch. We find out what good looks like to them.

03

You see how you match up.

Their requirements next to your answers. If something does not line up, we flag it to you both.

04

We set up the meeting.

Say yes and we make the introduction, then step back. The relationship is yours from there.

What they asked for
  • 01

Monthly management accounts, not just the year end.

You do these as standard for firms this size.

  • 02

A fixed fee agreed up front.

Matches how you price. No year end surprises either way.

  • 03

A named partner who actually answers.

You typically put a named partner on it, with a regular monthly meeting.

  • 04

They would rather stay on QuickBooks.

You use Xero. The only thing on their list you do not match.

Worth knowingOn 04, they are open to moving to Xero if you handle the transfer.

Proximo · 2026 A short read

The questions everyone asks.

Two options. Per meeting is from £300 a meeting, plus a monthly panel fee. Priority is from £1,000 a month, for first look at potential fits, more introductions and more predictability.

Either way, turning down an introduction costs nothing, and neither does a meeting that doesn’t happen.

We’re not fully impartial and we won’t pretend to be. The practices on our panel pay us, and a company only ever hears about firms we work with.

But nobody gains from a bad introduction. Not you, not the company, not us. It wastes everyone’s time and it undermines the whole model.

So we tell you both the same thing: where the match is, and where the gaps are. You each decide from there.

You decide how many things have to line up before we introduce you to a company, and which of them matters most. Set it low and you’ll get more opportunity. Set it high and you’ll see fewer, but they’ll be closer to your target clients and you’ll spend less of your week on business development.

Tell us. If the brief was wrong, we won’t charge for it. If the brief was right and they still weren’t for you, that helps us make better recommendations in the future.

The panel is mixed by design, by type of practice and by geography. Companies get a genuine choice, and you get less direct competition for the same work.

We pick up the phone, yes. But we’re not ringing around trying to convince anyone to change accountant. We call companies where something suggests they’re more open to a move, and call to find out where they are in the process.

You tell us who you want to meet and, just as usefully, who you don’t. Nothing goes to a company until you’ve read the brief and said yes.

We catch up monthly on the approach, including where you’ve set the bar. And you get a full brief on every potential meeting before you agree to go ahead.

No. Stop whenever you like. If you’re on Priority and work gets busy, drop back to per meeting rather than pay for meetings you can’t take.
